विधात्री धर्माणां त्वमसि सकलाम्नायजननी
त्वमर्थानां मूलं धनदनमनीयांघ्रिकमले ।
त्वमादिः कामानां जननि कृतकन्दर्पविजये
सतां मुक्तेर्बीजं त्वमसि परमब्रह्ममहिषी ॥ ८॥


vidhātrī dharmāṇāṃ tvamasi sakalāmnāyajananī
tvamarthānāṃ mūlaṃ dhanadanamanīyāṅghrikamalē ।
tvamādiḥ kāmānāṃ janani kṛtakandarpavijayē
satāṃ muktērbījaṃ tvamasi paramabrahmamahiṣī ॥ 8॥

Anvaya (Prose Order)

हे जननि, त्वम् धर्माणां विधात्री, सकलाम्नायजननी च असि; त्वम् अर्थानां मूलम् असि, धनदेन नमनीयम् अङ्घ्रिकमलं यस्याः सा; त्वम् कामानाम् आदिः असि, कृतकन्दर्पविजये; त्वम् सतां मुक्तेः बीजम् असि, परब्रह्ममहिषी।

Meaning of the Words 

विधात्री - vidhātrī - author/orderer
धर्माणां - dharmāṇāṃ - dharmas (righteousness)
त्वमसि - tvamasi -  = त्वम् + असि - you are 
सकलाम्नायजननी - sakalāmnāyajananī = सकल + आम्नाय + जननी - mother of all sacred teachings 
त्वमर्थानां मूलं- tvamarthānāṃ mūlaṃ = त्वम् + अर्थानाम् + मूलं - you are the root of wealth
धनदनमनीयांघ्रिकमले - dhanadanamanīyāṅghrikamalē = धनद+ नमनीय + अङ्घ्रि + कमले - O you whose lotus-feet are beautiful as Kubera's treasures 
त्वमादि कामानां- tvamādiḥ kāmānāṃ = त्वम् + आदि + कामानां - you are the beginning of all desires 
जननि - janani - O Mother 
कृतकन्दर्पविजये - kṛtakandarpavijayē = कृत + कन्दर्प + विजये - victor of Manmada, the Lord of Cupid
सतां मुक्तेर्बीजं त्वमसि - satāṃ muktērbījaṃ tvamasi = सतां + मुक्ते + बीजम् + त्वम् + असि  - You are the seed of liberation for the sat.”
परमब्रह्ममहिषी - paramabrahmamahiṣī = परब्रह्म + महिषी - The consort of Lord Siva, ParaBrahman.

அறம்வகு அன்னை நீ!
மறைநான்கின் தாயும் நீ !
செல்வத்தின் மூலம் நீ !
செல்வனும் பணிவன் நின்
பொன்மலர்ப் பாதம்!
ஆசையின் ஆதி நீ!
அனங்கனை வென்றாய் நீ!
அம்பலவாணனின் அரசி நீ!
முக்திக்கு வித்தே நீ! 8

Meaning 

You who are the source of all Vedas.

You are the Ordainer  of all Dharma.  

At your feet, is Kubhera, the lord of all riches.

You are the source of all wealth. 

You have defeated Manmatha, the God of Love. 

You are the very origin of Love itself. 

Oh Consort of the supreme Lord Parameshwara, 

Verily you are the very seed of MokSha for the seekers of Ultimate Reality .
